Vicar:  Edward Olsworth-Peter

Ed is the vicar of the United Benefice of the parishes of St Augustine and Holy Trinity, Forest Hill and has been in post since September 2010.

Ed writes:

'I was born in West London and grow up in Sussex and  I am the third generation in my family to serve in the Anglican church, my uncle and grandfather both being ordained. I studied Geography at university and travelled to South America on several occasions working with Latin Link, a mission agency providing practical and spiritual resources. I spent a couple of years as a youth worker for a church in South Tottenham where I ran an annual schools festival. After completing my theological training in Oxford I served a curacy in Guildford. For the last three years I have been the Associate vicar at Intermission at St Saviours, Walton Place, a fresh expression of church within the arts and St Simon Zelotes, Chelsea, a church within the book of common prayer tradition. I’m very much looking forward to joining the congregations of Holy Trinity and St Augustine’s.  '
