The St. Augustine
Living Heritage Network
The Living Heritage Appeal:
What is the Living Heritage Network?
The Living Heritage Network is the network of people who are a part of the congregation, a part of the community served by the church and others who are interested in the life of St. Augustine.
Having reopened for worship in 2003 it is clear that St. Augustine’s Church is living and growing. It is a place and resource for the whole community; a place of peace and tranquility for prayer and worship; rooms available for events, meetings, and conferences; and a venue for concerts and other gatherings, We want to ensure that St. Augustine continues to have its place amongst us.
One aspect of the Living Heritage Network is 'The St. Augustine Living Heritage Fund'. The Living Heritage Fund is a way to ensure that we are able to maintain St. Augustine. The maintenance of the fabric of St Augustine's church building is a continual challenge. One phase of building work has been completed thanks to grants from English Heritage and other generous donations. We are in the process of discerning the essential works necessary to continue to protect and develop this Grade II listed building.
More information will be posted here as it becomes available, but in the meanwhile, if you would like to know more about how you can contribute to our on-going appeal please contact the parish office at 020 8699 0172 and leave a message or email here.
