Readings next Sunday: 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 Luke 2:33-35 

Exodus 2:1-10 and Psalm 34:11-20

Bishop Christopher will be taking the service next Sunday        March 14^th. We encourage you all to attend this service, as this could be a good opportunity to speak with him after the service about our requirements for a new Vicar. If possible could you try to get to St. Augustine at least 15mins before the start of the service.

 LENT COURSE – ‘WHEN I SURVEY .... Christ’s cross and ours’ is a 5 session ecumenical discussion course for Lent 2010.

There are 3 opportunities to follow the course:

 Holy Trinity Church Centre.   Every Tuesday morning starting 23 February 11.30 am to 12.30 pm

 Grove Centre, 2 Jews Walk.  Every Tuesday evening starting 23 February at 7.45 pm.

 St Philip’s Vicarage, 122 Wells Park Road.  Every Friday morning starting 26 February at 11.00 am.

   Appointment of Vicar to the Benefice of Holy Trinity and St Augustine – the post will be advertised in the Church Times on 5 and 12 March.   Please pray for a good response.

  Calling all Readers and Intercessors – the Rota for the period March to June 2010 is on the table at the back of the church.   Please sign up.
