Worship

The church building is a house of prayer.  We worship God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; One God in Trinity. Here, we come together to praise God and give God thanks for our many blessings.  In our gathering we pray for the needs of the church and the communities around us where we have been planted.  We pray for people and their needs; the nations and their peoples; for peace and justice; for reconciliation and hope.  Whatever the situation, we ask for the wisdom, guidance, and healing balm of our Lord to be present.

The Holy Eucharist
Our services are centred on the Holy Eucharist also known as Holy Communion and the Lord's Supper.  In the Holy Eucharist we have a sense of Great Thanksgiving for all that we receive from the hand of God, especially the reconciliation and grace received in Jesus.  We praise God with hymns and songs, listen to the Word of God in the Bible which is then explained and reflected upon in a meaningful way for the 21st Century. In the service we pray for the needs of the world, the community, and our own lives as we share in the bread and wine of Holy Communion by which we are spiritually nourished.
