The blog, 2Wheels2Paris will give you an idea of how it all went from preparations through to the ride and finish along with my observations and one or two frustrations. The bike ride was undertaken in aid of the St. Augustine Living Heritage Appeal. The ride took place in September 2007 starting after the morning service on Sunday, 16th September and finishing on Thursday, 20th September. The route was London to New Haven (Brighton), ferry to Dieppe and then finish at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It is never too late to donate to a good cause. If you would still like to donate to the Living Heritage Appeal, you may send a cheque made out to St. Augustine's PCC. Please mark 'Living Heritage Appeal' on the back of the cheque.
